AMEX Digital launches new BD-UG1 Blu-ray drive upgrade kit for Apple Mac mini. The BD-UG1 is basically a slot-Loding blu-ray/dvd SATA combo drive that supports up to 4X reading Bly-ray and DVD and 8X writing 24X CD burning.

According to the AMEX, the reader direct reading of Blu-ray HD Video Files “on Mac OSX with VLC media player.
