COOL- ER AT&T 3G and WiFi eBook Reader
COOL-ER ebook reader manufacturer Interead have obviously decided they can no longer rely on the pretty colors to differentiate their equipment sufficiently, and thus throw some 3G AT & T in the mix too. In mid-2010, the company will update the COOL-ER with an optional WWAN connectivity, there will be a WiFi option, but it is unclear whether what is on the same device as the network drive 3G or different SKU.

Reviews of COOL-ER, we have seen described the device as “rough around the edges”, highlighting some noise and poor choice of logo. However, much of the criticism was about the lack of wireless connectivity, something of this mid-2010 refresh will respond. Interead have not confirmed how much the New Cool-ER with the 3G (or for that matter with WiFi) will cost, but we’re assuming the cost of ongoing service will be integrated into the initial purchase price, the Kindle LA and corner. The company has also established a partnership with NewspaperDirect, which will provide periodic model of the present generation and future releases. [via slashgear]
