This is a very attractive and well built the device, the light weight of 50 grams and dressed in a mixture of piano black and black rubber with a small blue LED that flashes when the Spyder3 is active. Before you connect, however, you must install the included software, which is compatible with Windows and Mac and can run on specifications as small as a netbook. Installation is relatively painless, but you need both to get into a series and then record another serial number that is generated by the program and required for future installations.
