Google Working Branded Chrome OS Netbook
It seems that Google [GOOG] working with a company to actually build a branded Google netbook. The causes are more likely to be that they want to get Chrome Netbook OS works with the exact specifications they want rather than what the manufacturerswant.

In addition to creating its own brand netbook OS Chrome, Google is also said to work closely with companies such as Acer, Asus, HP, Lenovo, Qualcomm, TO and Toshiba to name a few. From what TechCrunch talk, it seems that Google is aiming for the holiday season coming years to launch the netbook. The Google Chrome Netbook OS will probably selling subsidized by phone companies to lower costs for consumers and what we also expect to have built in connectivity so you can surf the net where you find.
For the moment, not many other devices are known and speculation on the processor was made by Transport Canada believes that Google will go for an ARM processor rather than an Intel Atom. 2010 will be one of the years where a large number of new hardware and OS are pushed.
