LG Solar Cell 0.7mm Thick e-Book Reader

LG has unveiled its first e-book reader which includes a solar cell thin to extend the life of the battery. Measuring only 0.7mm thick and weighing only 20 grams, this thin solar cell is able to extend the running time of the e-book of the battery of a day simply by being exposed to the rays of sun for about four to five hours.

LG presented its e-book reader this week at IMID (International Meeting on Information Display) in Seoul, South Korea. [via techfresh]
