Lite-On eHAU424-08 24X External DVD Writer
Lite-On launches eHAU424-08 24X DVD writer in the United States, which is similar to the Europe-bound eHAU324. The eHAU424-08 uses a USB 2.0 and has 2 MB buffer. He writes DVD + /-R 24x, DVD + /-R DL 12x, DVD + RW at 8X, DVD-RW 6x, DVD-RAM 12x CD-R/RW up 48x.
Lite-On’s new writer supports both 8cm and 12cm CD and DVD. It includes Smart-burner for the Protection Buffer Under Run SmartErase for erasing data of better quality, ABS system reduce vibration and noise and LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling. The Lite-On eHAU424-08 is found on Amazon for $ 54.99. [via itechnews]
