Microsoft Windows 7 Multicore Processors
Microsoft, in collaboration with Intel, its next OS Windows 7 will be faster than it takes advantage of the chip manufacturer’s multithreaded and multicore processors. According to one source to Intel, this result is faster application performance.

With Microsoft and Intel are working together very closely, allowing Windows 7 to identify the resources that are available and then break the processing of the application on Intel multi-core chip and son. This is something that Vista was unable to do so.
According to PC World, the operating system Windows 7 will benefit from a feature called SMT parking, which will use the Intel hyperthreading technology. We will now have to wait and see if we can finally have a version of Windows that does not hog all the system resources. We will not have to wait long, as the RTM of Windows 7 was released on August 6. [via product-reviews]
