Motorola Unveils Android Smartphone 15 September
Even if I have the vague feeling that if we put all the pieces of flight, together we have a near complete picture, it is good to finally see a date of Motorola’s official announcement Google Android …In an email sent to journalists in the tech world today (ours is pictured below) told us to “SAVE THE DATE” for September 15 for a London-based event in the evening. The official line was “Unfortunately, we are not able to give more details at present, however, over the coming weeks we will be able to reveal more. But the gift is rather obvious combination of Motorola and Android logos in the corners at top and bottom right.

So what can we work to advance? I would say many things. Motorola has been a dismal financial situation for the last two years (read: RAZR induced by lack of innovation), but not included Android publicly back in October. Since then, we have witnessed a flight of Roadmap 2009 models combined with some very ugly and a clone of the iPhone confidence. It was also revealed earlier this month that Motorola plans to make-a-HTC and bring its own custom user interface for Android Blur, something that could be inspired or insipid.
It looks as if the hybrid rather hideous Xperia X2/RAZR could be its first Android phone carrier, but we hope there are others to follow soon. The last thing that Motorola needs is to spoil this place, because his short second chance. [via trustedreviews]
