NEC NP510WS and NP610S NP Short Throw ECO Mode Projectors
NEC extends its NP Short Throw series by introducing two new models, large-format NP510WS and NP610S standard look. These short throw projector headlamps using ECO mode technology to extend lamp life up to 5000 hours and low power consumption and noise level (29dB) for near-silent operation.
The characteristics NP510WS NEC 1280 × 800 native resolution, 600:1 contrast ratio, 2100 lumens while the NP610S boasts 1024 × 768, 600:1 contrast and 2600 lumens. They feature short throw distance, eliminating shadows on the screen with light projected into the eyes of the presenter created by traditional systems of front projection. Auto Vertical Keystone Correction and Auto Sense are also included. The NP510WS and NP610S comes with built-in speaker 7-watt and provides an Ethernet LAN port, VGA and DVI-I PC input. They will be shipped in January 2010 for $ 949 and $ 999. [via itechnews]
