NEC S 521 LCD Full HD Monitor Display
NEC adds a new member to its S series, the 52-inch Full HD LCD S521 quality business. S401 and S461 As announced last month, the S521 is designed for digital signage applications with extended operating time, such as airports, retail and other public spaces.
The S521 has NEC 1280 × 1080 Full HD resolution, 500cd/m2 brightness, 3000:1 contrast ratio, ambient light sensor for optimum brightness depending on lighting conditions, advanced cooling design to prevent sticking probability picture and improved color uniformity and video wall capabilities. It also includes real-time clock and timer integrated expansion slot.
The S521 offers DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA, DVI-D, 5 BNC (RGB / HS), composite, component, S-Video as well as Ethernet, RS-232 in / out, IR and DDC / CI control ports. The NEC S521 is priced at $ 2,689 and $ 2,849 is the AVT-S521 with ATSC / NTCS tuner / Clear QAM. [via itechnews]
