Philips Wireless Link Cable-Set HDTV

Philips Wireless HDTV Link (SWW1800/27) replaces the cables that connect the HD cable set-top boxes, HD satellite receiver, Blu-ray or gaming console to an HDTV and wireless delivers up to 1080p quality image. Philips Wireless HDTV Link

Philips says its Wireless HDTV Link enables consumers to move their HD devices (set-top boxes and other AV equipment) up to 75 feet away from the TV without signal loss or degradation. The Link Wireless HDTV is ideal for renovating facilities where intensive work in facilities to customize your walls are too costly or impossible due to the solid concrete walls of stone or brick). The Link Wireless HDTV allows you to connect four audio and video to your TV, two HDMI digital connections and two component connections. Users have the freedom to switch between these devices simply and quickly, without having to change wires and plugs between uses.

Accessories such as Blu-ray players, game consoles and satellite set top boxes can be hidden in the ceiling projects may also be connected wirelessly to the unit. According to Philips, the digital signal is never compressed and retains all the attributes as if it was transmitted by a standard HDMI cable. The Philips Wireless Link HDTV sells for $ 799 U.S. from November. [via gizmag]
