QOOQ A Computer Kitchen Gadgets

The following device has a name that some of you might have a hard to pronounce, but just say the word “cook” and you have it. I’m not sure what the heck is QOOQ, however. Now the QOOQ comes preloaded with 500 interactive recipes, but everything is written in French. It costs € 349 and then € 12.95 / month for updates.

QOOQ The computer is a kitchen and it comes with 10 recipes of chefs video. It can also connect to Internet via Ethernet or WiFi, and the user can even subscribe to monthly updates for lots more recipes. There is also a meal planner and a machine to shopping list that will also help before cooking. It does not have an Internet browser, but it can be used to update the recipes, weather information stations, Internet radio, and can also be used as a digital photo frame.

Now the QOOQ has a touch screen and a 10.2 inch screen keyboard, but you’re probably wondering if you want something like this in the kitchen with sauces boil over and all that mess kitchen you have to endure daily. Fortunately, the QOOQ has a glass screen that you can wipe them with the counter and all. [via coolest-gadgets]

    It is unfortunate that no product such as the Qooq exists in the U.S. There should be a Big Oven or Epicurious sponsored tablet that lets you email, retrieve and store recipes, check weather, etc.
