Rockwell Collins MicroDAGR GPS Receiver

Rockwell Collins has released its new handheld GPS receiver for soldiers called MicroDAGR. This portable navigation device is specially designed to operate in extreme conditions generally meets Army standards. It offers real-time positioning, navigation, mobile maps and timing information through the display full-color touch screen and can easily be worn on the wrist.

Other interesting features include vibrating alert, an MP3 player and digital camera. The Rockwell Collins MicroDAGR be available for delivery in January 2010, with first deliveries from the U.S. Army Rapid Equipping Force (REF). [via techfresh]
