Samsung 7-Inch and 14-Inch AMOLED Mobile Displays

At the FPD International 2009, Samsung introduced the ultra slim AMOLED Mobile Displays. The first prototype is a hybrid desktop with a laptop 14-inch AMOLED screen. The flat screen is just 2.7mm thick and features 1366 × 768, brightness of 300cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.

Another 7-inch AMOLED screen can be found on a netbook. The screen has a resolution of 1024 × 600, brightness of 300cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 well. There is also a transparent display 176 × 200, a 3.5 inch screen WVGA curved, and a small 3.5 AMOLED 3D TV with refresh rate of 240Hz. [via itechnews]
