Samsung HT-WS1G Powerful Sound Quality Speaker
If we are to be frank, most flat TVs to provide a quality of sound terrible, but not everyone has the money or space to upgrade to a home theater system, whereas d ‘ others simply do not like the thought of cables spoil their carefully planned interior decor.
Dilemmas such as these have created a strong demand for a single unit, wall-mountable speaker systems (or “Soundbar”) that provide powerful sound quality without making unreasonable demands on your environment, or in the case Samsung HT-WS1G your wallet.
This 2.1-channel system (curiously named “Crystal Surround Air Track“) can be yours for under £ 260, but even at that price is not tempting Samsung usual compromise the principles of design aesthetic and attention to detail – HT-WS1G is pure eye candy and covered with intelligent keys.
The Soundbar itself is incredibly thin and compact – many more than most competitors – making it easy for wall mounting. Its one meter width is exactly the same as a 40in Samsung TV, and the gloss black finish Platinum results of the company defines it perfectly, so that when mounted below one of the effect is striking. But if you prefer to put it on a flat surface, it comes with a transparent as clips on the bottom.
Samsung clearly did not want to ruin the appearance plonking a billboard lights at the front, instead of the unit has a range of subtle lights that disappear at rest. But this is a sub you can not hide away in a corner – his shiny black top panel and curved edges make it easy on the eyes, while its quality of construction is admirably strong.
On the back of the main unit are just two entries, which keeps things simple, but does not provide much flexibility, if your player results do not match. You get an optical digital audio input, which supports Dolby Digital, DTS and PCM streams, but you live, if the bridge does sports coaxial output. A stereo analog minijack serves your other sources, you’ll need a cable adapter. Needless to say that the lack of HDMI inputs and HD audio decoding is a shame, but a little more than asking price.
