Samsung Electronics has announced the South Korean market for its latest media player, the Samsung YP-R0, featuring advanced audio and video capabilities with a microSD slot. With its slim form factor and 2.6 “TFT LCD, the Samsung media player offers advanced multimedia experience in a sleek package. The Samsung R0 PMP player has a large memory capacity with an integrated slot for microSD card that allows users to increase storage capacity up to 16GB. With a choice of models with 4 GB or 8 GB of internal memory, consumers can enjoy a wide variety of multimedia content including video, music and pictures, without having to worry about running out of space.
Also, in conjunction with the launch of R0 PMP, Samsung offers a microSD card of 2 GB for consumers who register the product emodio.com. Intuitive drag & drop “functionality, the new Samsung player PMP device gives users the freedom to enjoy their audio / video libraries anywhere, anytime. To facilitate the visualization of high-quality video, the Samsung R0 supports a variety of popular formats, including DivX, XviD, H.264 and WMV, eliminating the need for external conversion. In addition, Samsung’s patented DNSe 3.0 technologies to improve its offer quality crystalline sound to give users the ultimate multimedia experience.
With sophisticated styling and slim body measuring just 8.8 mm thick, the Samsung PMP Player R0 has a grip optimized by giving it a unique style, while the touchpad makes the device easy to use in darkness. “The Samsung YP-R0 PMP player is a high end device with a sleek design, a convenient user interface and exceptional multimedia capabilities,” said Jooho Song, Vice President, Samsung Electronics. “The R0 also offers users the convenience an integrated slot for microSD card so they can benefit from flexibility in terms of memory while discovering all the features and functionality”. Among the many new features, the Samsung R0 PMP Player features an FM radio, programs for second language acquisition and text / image viewer.
