Team P2 IDE Taiwanese Company Team Group SSD
The Taiwanese company Team Group has announced the new series P2 (S25P02) IDE Solid State Drive (SSD). Unlike most new SSD, the P2 uses the 44 pin IDE interface and is available in 2.5 inches.

P2 Team Group, based on MLC flash memory is available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities. It offers up to 80MB / s reading and 50MB / s write speeds. [via itechnews]

Plextor has unveiled its new 12x Blu-ray writer for desktops namely PX-B940SA. The player offers a 4MB buffer, a SATA interface connection and provides write speeds of 12x for BD-R DL/SL, 2x for BD-RE, 16x for DVD + R /-R 8x for DVD + RW, 6x for DVD-RW, 8x for DVD + /-R DL, 5x DVD-RAM, 40x for CD-R and 24x for CD-RW.

OCZ has added a new member to its PCI-E Series SSDs in announcing the Z-drive M84. Available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB capacities.
