ASUS Launches 17-inch Gaming Notebook

ASUS today unveiled the G73JH-X1 Gaming Laptop 17.3 inches on the U.S. market via Newegg. The laptop is powered by a processor i7 720QM Quad Core Intel Core with a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 Graphics, an 8 GB of DDR3 memory, hard drive 500 GB, a DVD burner, 8 cell battery and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium OS. The G73JH-X1 has a 17.3 inch (1920 x 1080) display with LED backlight.
Additional specifications include stereo speakers, a 2.0MP webcam, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Ethernet LAN port, the HDMI and VGA outputs, four USB ports and an 8-in-media card reader 1. Weighing 8 lbs, the Asus G73JH-X1 is priced at $ 1429.99. [via techfresh]

Asus has officially announced its G51J 3D mobile game that is equipped with NVIDIA 3D Vision and distributed with specially designed 3D glasses. Powered by Intel Core i7-720QM processor, 3D G51 sport 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX260M and up to 4 GB of DDR3 RAM.
The G51J Asus 3D packages up to two hard drives of 500 GB to 7200 and is DVD burner or combo drive Blu-ray. It has a 15.6 inch 1366 × 768 display, LED backlighting, a 2 megapixel webcam, WiFi, speakers, Altec Lansing and media card reader.

It seems that Microsoft is not the only one who makes new webcams 720p as Hercules has announced the Dualpix HD 720p.The Hercules Dualpix HD 720p up to its name as it shoots in 720p resolution HD video with 1280 x 720 resolution at 30 frames per second with a 16 / 9.As for the photo resolution, it offers 5 megapixels in interpolated mode, and it has a 1 CMOS sensor for high quality images even in low light. Microsoft is working on a webcam that drives the search for the low quality of the scene used to HD. The new Microsoft LifeCam is capable of 720p and that can capture HD resolution at 30 frames per second (1280 × 720 pixels).
The device also has a 4x digital zoom and a microphone that is noise cancellation built in. The LifeCam is constructed of aluminum and can rely on both laptops and desktops.The device is compatible with Live Messenger, and also works with other Microsoft software that can use digital cameras such as Movie Maker, Live Photo Gallery.
