Sony adds to its flagship ES (Elevated Standard) line of two new AV receivers, the STR-DA5500ES and STR-DA3500ES, which replaces the DA5400ES and DA3400ES. Both devices are supplied with HD Digital Cinema Sound capabilities and supports all current high definition video and audio formats on Blu-ray Disc, including 1080/24p, xv Color, Deep Color and Dolby True HD / DTS-HD.
The Sony STR-DA5500ES is a 7.1-channel AV receiver with 120Wx7 power while the STR-DA3500ES offers 100 × 7 exit. The establishment of these receptors are made easier by the Auto-Calibration of digital cinema. New Sony receivers are equipped with IC chip Faroudja DCDi Cinema (STR-DA5500ES receives two tokens) for the upconversion and 1080p video formats for existing video.

Sony BDZ-introduced the EX200, a Blu-ray digital video recorder with a hard drive integrated 2TB. The DVR can record video to BD-R/BD-RE, hard disk or DVD + /-RW. The videos are recorded in MPEG4-AVC format.
Sony BDZ-EX200 has dual TV tuner (likely for you to record two programs at the same time) and two HDMI outputs. A is also announced the BDZ-RX100 with 1TB hard drive, BDZ-RX50 with 500 GB and BDZ-RX30 with 320GB. They all have dual tuners.
