Sony Bravia KDL-40HX803 Terminal 3D Display
Sony’s first 3D TV is finally here, in the form of the 40in KDL-40HX803. And to be honest, we do not expect much. For every time we saw Sony televisions 3D action big show, they simply do not look as good as those of some competitors. Then hope that the Japanese brand has managed to cram in a lot of improvements last minute!

Somewhat surprisingly, the 40HX803 not wearing a rather stylish design and Sony Monolith. Instead you get a telescope simple but elegant black top, right and left, with a little metal strip along the bottom edge proud. The game is always fun, but for all its non-monolithic approach.
There is no 40HX803 aesthetic impact of any damage whatsoever, it uses LED lighting board to provide a fairly thin. Although it is almost as thin as EDGE Samsung LED icons. In addition, the board LED system is a dynamic process, which means that sections of edge lights can be controlled independently of the contrast performance hopefully more impressive than you should get a standard service LED lit LCD TV.
Somewhat surprisingly for such a flat screen, Sony has left most of its connections to the outside of the back straight on the TV rather than using the side-access model would depend on the hanging wall. But at least the number and variety of these connections is quite amazing.
For example, it has four HDMIs, all built to the v1.4 specification, if they are compatible with the 3D sources. Note also a USB port, an Ethernet port and a terminal 3D Sync, we examine in turn.
USB can play music, video and photo files directly into the TV, but you can also add 40HX803 Wi-Fi via USB dongle option. It’s a bit disappointing that the 40HX803 no Wi-Fi for its money, but he is not alone in preferring the path of the optional upgrade.
The Ethernet jack, meanwhile, has three uses. First, it maintains a high-Freeview HD tuner, to provide future interactive services like the BBC iPlayer. Second, it provides a way to import files stored on a wired PC DLNA. Finally, you can take the TV experience online Sony Bravia Internet Video Platform, which we shall return in a moment.
But we must first discuss the Sync Station 3D. This is because the issuer 40HX803 not integrated 3D, contrary to Samsung and Panasonic, we tested the 3D TVs. In fact, the 40HX803 has no 3D at all in its standard form. You must add an option of the issuer and pairs of active shutter glasses with the issuer, at a cost of £ 50 and the return parameter lenses £ 99 per pair. This effectively makes the 40HX803 £ 1,887 if you want two pairs of 3D glasses. [via trustedreviews]
