Sony Concept Ultra Compact Digital Camera

Sony working on a new ultra-compact digital camera that uses interchangeable lenses. The new DSLR is being developed and should be launched this year. The device uses a newly developed APS Exmor CMOS sensor HD which supports HD video recording in AVCHD format.

As the introduction and showing a quick drawing of the ultra-compact camera, Sony also had to present its latest digital SLR camera called the A700, which at this moment in time, is also a concept / model. This camera falls into the area mid-range cameras from Sony and that is what is called “prosumers” and those who delve further into photography.

Not many details on launch dates are known immediately that the cameras are still in early stages of development. Hopefully we’ll get more details soon on where Sony is heading with the ultra compact photo above. [via gadgetvenue]
