Sony Launch Wi-Fi Enabled 7.1 Surround Sound Blu-ray Players

Sony announced two new Blu-ray BDP-named S560 and BDP-S760. Both players are designed to provide high quality 1080p picture quality with 7.1 surround sound.Both Blu-ray are wireless 802.11n at a speed that allows you not only get the latest updates to the firmware on your network, but also connect to the Web so you can use the BD-Live service.

So both players can receive JPG files from other DLNA devices like the Vaio laptops and PCs, even if they are not in the same room.”The BDP-S560 and BDP-S760 both Wi-Fi and DLNA capabilities built to connect your Blu-ray to your home network easier than ever before”, said Julien Dalle, Senior Business Manager, Home Video Marketing Sony Europe. “These two new Blu-ray and matching AV receiver offers maximum video and audio quality.”Sony upscaling also use the technology in these players that can move your collection of original DVD to HD resolutions to help provide near HD quality screen.They look well worth checking out if you’re new, after a Blu-ray.
