Sony PRS-300 and PRS-600 New E-Book Readers

As previously reported, Sony is preparing two new e-book readers and here is the details of their characteristics. The Sony Reader PRS300-RC Pocket Edition will have a 5-inch 800 × 600 display, 512 MB of internal memory, USB 2.0 connectivity and a battery that allows the 7500 page turns.

The SC Reader PRS600-Touch Edition, on the other hand, has a 6-inch 800 × 600 touchscreen, 512 MB of onboard memory and an English dictionary virtual keyboard. It is as thin as 0.4-inches.Both models support PC and Mac. The PRS-300 and PRS-600 will be priced at $ 199 and $ 299 respectively. [via itechnews]
