Sony TransferJet Technology Digital Camera
During the CES, there was a demo done with a so-called TransferJet Station and a Sony Cybershot TX7. By simply placing the Sony TX7 at the station, the direct transfer of data is possible. No mucking coupling or other obstacles, it does not get any easier than that. Another demonstration was done with a Sony Ericsson cellphone, which has integrated TransferJet. Holding the phone Sony Ericsson soon to a device that holds the content, the content is directly entered, and the cell phone can be removed.
TransferJet operates at very high speeds and is therefore very suitable for working with large data files. The theoretical speed that can be achieved is to 560Mbps, with a maximum data transfer rate of 375Mbps. To ensure safety, it is possible to register and activate devices TransferJet voluntarily.
