Sony TransferJet Technology Digital Camera

During the CES, there was a demo done with a so-called TransferJet Station and a Sony Cybershot TX7. By simply placing the Sony TX7 at the station, the direct transfer of data is possible. No mucking coupling or other obstacles, it does not get any easier than that. Another demonstration was done with a Sony Ericsson cellphone, which has integrated TransferJet. Holding the phone Sony Ericsson soon to a device that holds the content, the content is directly entered, and the cell phone can be removed.

TransferJet operates at very high speeds and is therefore very suitable for working with large data files. The theoretical speed that can be achieved is to 560Mbps, with a maximum data transfer rate of 375Mbps. To ensure safety, it is possible to register and activate devices TransferJet voluntarily. Due to the short duration of the transfer, security is also put under pressure. Another advantage is that there is only one possible connection when the phone is held very close to another device, so that the risk of interference between devices is negligible. With the introduction of the new Sony CyberShot HX5V and Sony TX7, also a new feature appears, namely TransferJet. Sony is keeping information about this new technology a little background, partly due to the fact that Jet Transfer of technology is still at an advanced stage of development. This wireless technology has been developed by Sony and cooperation developed and promoted by 18 other manufacturers. TransferJet technology it is possible to transfer a maximum of 10 files between two devices that TransferJet. The only thing necessary is that both devices are held coast to coast for a short time.
