Special Edition Apollo 11 Space Pen Cool Gadgets
Today is the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing. To recognize this, Fisher Space Pen has created a new commemorative pen built on a genuine piece of Apollo 11 spaceship.
The Fisher Space Pen is an anti-gravity pen, and when mixed with the lunar landing of Apollo 11, he is set to 1 of 1000, which will be built.
The presentation case is the story of the historic Apollo 11 mission, as well as other times of the monumental human spaceflight. The iconic photo of Neil Armstrong on the first phase of the moon is contained in a resin cast of the footprint in the hinge of the lid. And, a new magnetic base allows the pen to sit on its own “launch pad” for the display when the lid is closed. The story continues on the sides of the case with a group of stainless steel and is engraved with a schedule indicating the time when the history of the mission of major events from launch to landing .
The pen is finished black titanium nitride. The detailed carvings inlayed with 24-carat gold pen include the serial number, the names of the crew of Apollo 11 and the image of an astronaut planting the American flag on the lunar surface. [via gadgetvenue]
