Pentax 645D Middle Digital SLR Camera

Pentax makes its first medium-format digital SLR camera, the Pentax 645D. Pentax 645D offers SAFOX IX + see wide-frame AF sensor system with 11 points, 77-segment multi-pattern metering, an easy-to-optical viewfinder and the DR (Dust Removal) II mechanism.

The camera sports a large 40-megapixel CCD image sensor that measures 44mmx33mm, which is about 1.7 times larger than 35-mm sensors. The 645D is equipped with the PRIME (PENTAX Real Image Engine) II image engine with high-speed data processing and new algorithm programmed exclusively for medium format DSLR.

The WB5000 has a specification that is a close match for its competitors, including af/2.8 – f/5.0 lens 24x zoom equivalent to 26-624mm, 1280 x 720 resolution video with stereo audio and full optical zoom, dual stabilization of ‘Optical and digital image, a three-inch 230k monitor, optional manual exposure and RAW capture mode.
