Hyundai W243D 24-Inch Widescreen Full HD LCD Monitor Display

Hyundai is preparing to release another LCD Full HD for the European market. Nicknamed the W243D, this new 24-inch widescreen display is consistent with Energy Star 5.0 and has a TN of 1920 x 1080 native resolution, 2ms response time, brightness of 300 cd/m2, a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000: 1 and consumes only 45W during normal operation.

It also comes with two 3W speakers, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI 1.3 connectors. The Hyundai W243D will go on sale in Europe next week for about 399 euros (about $ 592). [via techfresh]

Albatron 42-Inch Multi Touch Full HD LCD Monitor

Here are the latest 42-inch monitor from Albatron that sports multi touch capabilities, the Touch Optical Monitor. The widescreen display makes use of touch technology and optical characteristics of optical sensors on the screen at the top left and right to track the movements of fingers.

The monitor itself provides a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, contrast ratio 1000:1, response time of 9 ms, 700 cd/m2 brightness and refresh rate of 120Hz. It also offers multiple connectivity ports such as D-Sub, DVI, HDMI, RS232C and USB. Prices and availability are still unknown yet. [via techfresh]
