Teufel System 5 THX Select 2 Home Cinema Speakers
The idea behind THX Select 2 is to provide the best possible sound quality in rooms where the distance between the listening position on the screen is between 10 and 12 feet. To this end, THX Select 2 certified speakers should be associated with directivity controlled to achieve “a sound stage complete with a specific exposure to all types of audio content, and is one of the things Teufel has tweaked to get this certification.
Another is the inclusion of two subwoofers, which helps the bass system requirements of REACH THX (105dB continuous output frequency 25Hz minimum to -3 dB). For this type of performance from one sub it will be absolutely massive, so instead Teufel has opted for two cans of reasonable size, the bass, which make the system more “lounge-friendly.”

The speaker grill is a removable cover that fits over the front without the need for bolts, another measure to keep the wolf from the door distortion.
A 16cm deep, they are surprisingly compact compared with other stakeholders Teufel’s high-end, and can optionally be mounted on stands or 4002 AM on the wall using the pre-entered in brackets in the back.
