Toshiba First 64GB Fastest Data Transfer SDXC Card

Toshiba announced the launch of the first memory card 64 GB SDXC (model: THNSU064GAA2BC) and new 32 GB (THNSU032GAA2BB) and 16GB (THNSU016GAA2BA) SDHC cards. Compatibility with the new SD memory standard, Ver. 3.00, UHS104, the new SDHC cards SDXC and offers the fastest data transfer rate of 60MB / s read speed and 35 MB / s write speed.

This card allows for digital SLR cameras to shoot in bursts longer streaming of the highest quality RAW format. Also, with these cards, it will be possible to download a 2.4GB video in just 70 seconds.Toshiba plans to start mass production of these new memory cards in the spring of 2010. [via itechnews]
