Yamaha’s YSP-5100 and YSP-4100 Sound Bars

Yamaha has created noise bars for years and have been increasingly popular in homes where size is a problem. Apartments and studios room could not enjoy true surround sound because of the inability to push 5, 6 or more speakers in their living space cramped.

Yamaha's YSP-5100 and YSP-4100 Sound Bars

Sound Bars allowed these places to enjoy life fake surround sound, and these two new add even more to the mix. The YSP-5100 and YSP-4100 are now two new Digital Sound Projectors, with each using only one speaker, but “dozens” of sound beam drivers. They are designed to sit in front of televisions in high definition flat panel and they include four 1080p-compatible HDMI inputs, UniVolume (to keep his television programs and advertisements and different sources at the same level of volume), and a final kicker: yAired.

This is unique wireless technology from Yamaha, that allows iPods and iPhones to send the music to his bar without any wires involved. Unfortunately, not cheap. The 5100 is priced at $ 2199.95 and the 4100 is priced at 1899.95. [via hothardware]
